Changes Happening June 4, 2023 - Meals, Classrooms, Sutherlands

We have some changes happening around our campus and to our meal program beginning June 4. More information about some of these changes will be released in the coming weeks.

MEALS

Beginning June 4, our Sunday evening meals and Wednesday meals will have new pricing structure.
  • Adult, College, High School - $6.00
  • Children (8th grade and younger) - $4.00
  • Family Max - $20.00

This increase had been deferred for several years and it is something we need to do.

NEW CLASSROOMS

Beginning June 4 (the start of the Summer Sunday School Quarter) the following changes will take place for Sunday School classes. These changes are being done in order to help facilitate several key points: safety for our children and convenience for families with younger children to be closer to one another. These changes will go into effect Sunday, June 4.

  • The Agape Class will move to the first floor of the Whitaker Building. This helps reduce the number of steps to climb and having to take an elevator to the 3rd floor.
  • The Berean Class will move to the fourth floor of the Whitaker Building.
  • The New Covenant Class will move to the third floor of the Axson Building, Room #31 (formerly the Berean Class).
  • The 1st/2nd Grade class will move to the third floor of the Axson Building, Room #33.
  • The 3rd/4th Grade class will move to the third floor of the Axson Building, Room #32.
  • The Children's Church classroom will move to the second floor of the Axson Building, Room #20 (This is the classroom located up the private set of stairs leaving the front of the sanctuary).

*If you are unsure of where your new classroom is, someone will be there to assist you!*

We have exciting news to be announced this summer in light of the growth of the Sunday school program that will begin in the Fall Quarter. Stay tuned.

RETURNING INTERN: ALEX SUTHERLAND

We are thrilled to announce that Alex Sutherland will return for a two year pastoral assistant internship. Alex will graduate from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) this month and then he, Jenn and Cameron will make the trip to Savannah. We are thankful that they have accepted our offer to be a part of our congregation.
