Semiquincentennial Celebration
Our Republic has stood for 250 years! This is a cause for celebration. We are blessed to live in a land in which basic human rights are recognized (such as rights to life, liberty, franchise and property), and basic freedoms are guaranteed (such as religion, assembly, speech, and publishing), all in the context of unprecedented prosperity. We enjoy the fruit of life in the richest country in the world protected by the most powerful military in the world. Christians can only be grateful for the benefits of life in this land.
Join us at Point Pleasant for our nation’s 250th Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4, 10 AM – 3 PM. We will start our celebration with singing patriotic songs and then have friendly competition games for all ages. Silk Road Catering will be providing a delicious July 4th meal. The pool and waterslide will be open.
