2021 Mission Conference Speakers

A friend introduced Anna to the Rafiki Foundation in 2014, and she was thrilled to discover a reformed, Scripture-centered missions organization that focuses one aspect of their ministry on classical Christian education! She spent the summer of 2014 in Tanzania doing classroom teaching and teacher training in a Rafiki school. In the last year and a half, the Lord has been opening doors for her to return to work with this ministry full time, and she is now raising support in hopes of going to the field in Malawi in late summer as headmaster of one of Rafiki’s PreK-12 schools.

Dan and Cassandra, with their sons TJ and Hunter, have settled in Jenison, Michigan, and are planting Faith Presbyterian Church PCA. Faith is an ordinary means of grace church, where the gospel is preached, the sacraments are administered, and prayer is foundational.

Jimmy currently is working with Equipping Leaders International (ELI) where he met his wife Rita. Jimmy and Rita are newlyweds. Jimmy is the ELI Project Director for West Bengal India. Rita serves on ELI's board and is vitally engaged with under-resourced schools in Liberia. They count it a privilege to be here for IPC's annual Mission Conference.

The chief aim of African Bible University is to train Godly men and women for Christian leadership and service. The curriculum prepares the college’s graduates for Christian vocation. The university desires students who are committed to God’s guidance and dedicated to the Lord’s service. The courses are designed to hold to the highest academic standards, and the four year degree offered is parallel to the Bachelor of Arts degree awarded by other international universities and liberal arts colleges.

IPC shares a long relationship with the umbrella African Bible Colleges organization. This year’s special offering will be dedicated to the urgently needed replacement of the roof of the chapel on the Uganda campus. This project fits IPC because of the chapel’s connection to worship and preaching.

The building is in constant use, and is the centerpiece of the beautiful campus. In addition to ABU’s daily use of the chapel, it is also the Sunday morning worship venue for New City Church, a member church of the Uganda Presbytery of the Reformation Church in East Africa. The needed replacement of the roof will cost $25,000 and the coming dry season offers a window of opportunity to get the work completed. Please give generously, as our goal is to fully fund this worthy project.
